individual mindfulness courses
I offer individual mindfulness courses for those who prefer one-to-one or cannot find a course to fit into their schedule. The Mindfulness courses have been adapted to individual needs and there can be more flexibility around dates and times.
For those undergoing therapy the MBSR course can be extremely supportive. Mindfulness is not therapy, does not conflict with therapy, yet is therapeutic by nature.
Some of you might be concerned that the course might well be at odds with your religious or spiritual beliefs. Mindfulness is offered as a secular practice whatever beliefs or backgrounds you may come from. I have worked successfully with many individuals to integrate the essence and practice of the mindfulness work into their own religious/non-religious/spiritual beliefs and ways. The only qualification to attend is to just be as you are.
These sessions are offered either online or in Saffron Walden in the warmth and safety of my home setting. Parking is available.
Each session is 1 3/4 – hours long, there is a workbook and recorded material for practice. You will be given notes and guidance after each session and contact in between if needed. The cost of the 8 week course is £55 per session = £440.00 which can be paid in total, weekly or in instalments. Once you have completed the course you are then eligible to attend the follow up days that Chantek offers. If a couple would like to do the course together then that is possible and we would discuss the fee.
